It used to be that having squirrels in your attic was one of the biggest raves; but as humanity got smarter we decided that we didn’t like living with our large rodent friends in our homes. I mean who wants to hear that scratching and snarling all day long when it should be peaceful in your home. A family of Squirrels in your attic can also cause lots of damage to your home; where they chew a hole into your house is just minor. To prevent squirrels from gaining access to your attic start by trimming all trees back at least 10′ feet this will help deter the squirrels from just jumping across. Also remove birdfeeders from close to your house, you do not want squirrels attracted to your house. But if you already have squirrels in your attic call a professional to get them out, remember it only takes 1 min for a squirrel to chew the right wire and start a fire.
